A few things...

I didn't make it to the Festival of Trees this year, but I will replace that with "Watch the First Presidency Christmas Devotional". check.  Loved it. We've received an official invitation to have us kick someone's butt in a gingerbread house contest.  Sweet. Also, I watched Home Alone so I can check that off my list.

I also need to add a couple things:

Not freak out over getting every single person I know a gift. check

Hold hands with Danny listening to Christmastime (Hilary Weeks' Christmas CD) while sitting by the fireplace and looking at the Christmas tree lights.

Find a good Tabernacle Choir Christmas album. Anyone know of any good ones?

Help Cole write a letter to Santa. check

Record and watch the Carrie Underwood Christmas Special on TV tonight.  half check. (haven't watched it yet but we recorded it).

Lose at LEAST 3 more pounds during this weightloss contest.

Does anyone else have any fun/cool traditions that you do this time of year?

Hey where do you send your letter to Santa? I have been putting it off this year for my boys. Last year we did it through email but I was wondering if you get a letter back?

RaeLynn, our little family tradition is when we are getting out our christmas decorations, we also get out our Christmas kiddo books. We wrap them up and the kids are allowed to unwrap one each day before Christmas... the kids have fun with that and love unwrapping presents!

The Christmas album that I can listen to over and over again is the concert that MoTab did with Sissel. She is the lady that did the haunting vocals on Lord of the Rings, and her voice is beautiful. I love that c.d.
and I died laughing when I read Cole's letter to Santa. I love that boy.

I am going to say the same thing as Jenny. At the beginning of Dec, we wrap 25 Christmas books. Every night before bed, we open one and read it. My kids love it-- probably not for long, though.
