Read some classic Christmas Stories
Watch Elf--check
Watch A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life and Home Alone

Make illegal copies of David Archuleta's Christmas CD for a few friends--check
Have a gingerbread house contest (if anyone will take us on...bring it!)
Eat lots of oranges from Costco--check
Attend some parties
Go caroling (haven't gone for several years--but now we have to...Cole needs to experience it)

Read the Christmas story from the Bible

Looks like I'm not doing too shabby on my list.  But I've got plenty more to do.  If it doesn't all get done--dah well.  I just want to enjoy this time and not let the little things stress me out.  I don't think that's what Christmastime is about.

Gotta go watch a Christmas movie!

I must say that David Archuleta's Christmas CD is amazing. I don't think you can check this one off until you burn me a CD too.

Sign me up for a David Archuleta CD! (you should never have posted that cuz now everyone wants in. And you'll probably get arrested :)Anyway, I always knew we were meant to be friends because listening to the Carpenters Christmas CD is always the first thing to do on my holiday to-do list! Ahh, I just love Karen's voice. Sounds like you've got a lot of fun a head of you. Can Cole come caroling at our house? That would just make my day.

Looks like you have more CDs to make! LOL! I want one too!

What a great list! I agree with you about not stressing this season. Stress causes you to miss so much and I refuse to miss this special time. Good job Raelynn!

I love that you have a list, but it's not the kind to stress you out. I'm all about that this year. I love all of the photos and can't wait to see how Val's pics turned out, she's pretty dang awesome (yeah, i blog stalk now)

So little David Archuleta comes along and all of the sudden Osmond Family Christmas and Donny's Christmas at Home not longer exist? What the...? Seriously though...I want a copy of the cd, too. Once again...sad we live so far away. May I also suggest you add watching Charlie Brown Christmas and The Grinch (with Cole) to your list.

am i the only person in the world who doesn't like "a christmas story" and "it's a wonderful life"? FINE. anyway - love elf - this reminds me i need to watch it.

Fab list. No stress is totally the key! I am so sad I won't be seeing THE lights this year.

One cannot celebrate Christmas without watching It's a Wonderful Life. I don't know who Kathy is, but I don't think we can be friends.. at least during the holidays.

and i cant believe you are copying Archie's cd.. would you really take away from your fave's cd sales? Awesome that you were able to see him in concert!

Love this post and love the new blog!!!! We should do everything on your list together because I think it is my exact same Christmas list ---well, maybe not buying Cole and Danny rad gifts, but maybe I could start that one this year. Pass that by them, let me know what they think. I am open to it. :)

oooh, I will drink your egg nog for you. yum.

and yes! a fellow Carpenters fan! I love their Christmas CD and it makes me totally nostalgic since I listened to it every Christmas as a kid.

I still need to listen to Archie's CD. Sounds like I'm missing out!

love your listy list. loving DA's CD. thanks.
i'll split your egg nog with kristen and i'd love to watch it's a wonderful life with janet. i know it's her fave. i can't believe how many people have NOT seen that show. i have a copy if someone needs to borrow it. and also...i really don't care for (i typed hate but that seemed so strong) a christmas story. it's lame and dumb and i don't care to ever watch it again. i also own a copy and if anyone would like it i'd be happy to give it away.
i can't wait to watch "love actually" and family fam.
