Savior of the World

Danny and I had the opportunity to go see Savior of the World at the Conference Center Theater downtown.  It was such a great experience and it really helped me get into the right frame of mind going into the last few weeks of the Christmas Countdown.  It seemed like up to that point, I was enjoying December and I was enjoying the season, but I hadn't had a real moment to let something happen to ME.  I've been going around like a crazy person trying to make things happen for other people but this was different.  I just sat back and felt the Spirit pour all over me with music and the spoken word.  Music has a way of connecting with me that nothing else does. It has always been that way for me. This play is based on scriptural accounts of the birth and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and it was powerful.

I'm 29 years old and I was learning several new things about the circumstances surrounded the Lord's birth.  It just seemed so much easier to understand in this setting.  I wish I could always watch the scriptures played out like this because I think I'd retain a lot more.

I'm just so grateful for the chance I had to see this.  I think everybody needs to watch it at least once. It is played during both Christmas and Easter holidays.  I highly recommend it.
Thank You, Pam.

So I just caught up on reading your blog. I am so glad that you and Danny could go with me. I thought that Christmas was so much better after seeing the play.
