Welcome to the White House, Noodles!
This week, our inherited fish gave up the ghost. We thought he'd never die. Cole seemed pretty fine with it until after a few minutes and he explained that he had "a sad feeling in his heart". We talked about things and he seemed okay, especially given the fact that we were going to let him use some of his birthday money to buy a replacement fish that would be HIS very own fish.
Off to Petsmart we went the next day after school and Cole picked out his new Beta fish. When we walked out of the store, he wanted to name it sparkles...but it just didn't feel right (to me, heh). The cafe, Noodles & Co. was right across the street when we walked out and I suggested the name "Noodles" to Cole. He loved it.

So, Noodles is here to stay.
I have to admit that he's got a pimped out little pad here...
We think he likes it juuuuuust fine.
