You know what I wish?

I wish I had the time and creative talents to start a blog where I was awesome at:

photography
typography
interior design
furniture makeovers
organization
cute printables
easy, fun crafts

I am becoming more and more into blogs that are about different types of design.  Whether it be internal/external, yards, homes, scrapbook layouts, photography, etc. I have an affinity for all elements of design.  I don't know that I'm necessarily gifted with it--but I'm finding that I truly appreciate it. To the point that sometimes it takes my breath away.  I think I used to be in a frame of mind that I was too busy to appreciate or enjoy the little things.  The details.  I'm TRYING to slow down and make things count. Life is too short to buzz through things just to mark something off my list (not that I don't totally make lists just to draw that satisfying line through something I've completed).

I enjoy making tutorials for things that I'm good at.  I don't necessarily take the time to DO it very much but I enjoy it.  I love taking pictures even with our cheap camera and I love to edit pictures. Imagine what I could do with a killer camera and more free time :) Ahhh, the possibilities.  You'd think that with only 1 child--I should have time for lots of extracurricular stuff, but honestly I somehow keep pretty busy. I guess working 30+ hours a week kind of gets in the way of my REAL dreams.  Don't get me wrong...I love my job.  But I'm not quite as passionate about contacts as I am about more interesting other things :)

I have 10,000 things to blog about and I'm totally overwhelmed.  I honestly have to go back to September.  I also need to finish up blogging about my 31 days of change projects and then my new ideas and plans.  So much to do...so little time...

However, a wise man once said this:

So maybe there's still time for me, yet.

I love this post! I totally agree with wishing I was creative enough to have something to blog about. Love the quote, thanks for sharing it!
