More favorites from December

I figured I might as well sit here and blog since right now I'm having a flair up and can't go anywhere. Here are some more faves from December...

Danny's brother, Jeff gave us a GC to Hale Centre Theatre for doing his wedding cake and we saved it for a great performance of A Christmas Carol. I love that play for so many reasons. I love that not only is it SO close (maybe exactly?) to the original work by Charles Dickens but they incorporate so much music into it. They sing hymns and songs about Christ to make the message that much more powerful. I'd recommend it if you ever get the chance to go. I'm always amazed at the caliber of talent that Hale has. I'm so glad I have a husband who enjoys it as much as I do.

Loved getting all the Christmas cards. We've gotten more since this picture was taken and almost filled up the entire door. I'm still wishing we had been able to send one out this year.
Dah well. There's always next year.

More pics of the snowflakes.

Our happy tree

Cole is holding an advent calendar that was full of little chocolates. We always had these growing up and I will insist for as long as they continue making them on letting Cole do it too. (The "chocolate" is practically just wax but it's all about the anticipation, ya know?)

Our ward party was the Let's Make a Deal theme and I was out in the crowd helping out {why didn't I jump in this picture?}. Danny volunteered to make eclaires from scratch as one of the prizes. I was so good and didn't even take a lick.

Cole and I kept to something a little simpler...

And then I made the snack that I was allowed to eat...Kale chips. Surprisingly good.
