More November

Forgot some note-worthy happenings in November:

Poor Caleb got pretty sick. We got started on some essential oils right away in a diffuser which really helped him sleep. But he was fussy and feverish to the point where we had to take him in a few times to the doctor. Thankfully he just had a flu virus that causes croup-like symptoms and not a serious case of RSV. We did some steroid treatments and treated the symptoms and it cleared up in a week or so. Sick babies are so sad.

 Cole had parent-teacher conferences and begged for this picture by the Raptor in his school. He is doing great in school, just needs to focus more :) Don't we all...

I had my "six week appointment" that was more like my 9 week appointment because I didn't make it until I was 5 weeks postpartum. Heh. I asked Dr. Fro for a pic of him and Caleb since I never got one in the hospital. He said of course and gave me his cell phone number and asked if I'd send it to him. He said he has dedicated his life to delivering babies and doesn't have very many pictures to show for it so I sent him one that Val had taken of him with Molly as well. I joked with Val about texting him way too much and inviting him over for Thanksgiving dinner with the fam. I do have his personal cell phone #, after all.

We made snickerdoodles and had Cole help with the whole process. Usually when he says he "wants to make cookies" that translates into "Mom, will you make cookies that I can consume?" Not this time. We're teaching him fractions and important life skills :)

Caleb wasn't much help this time around:

I was on dishes duty, natch.

I had to take a shot of Cole's entry into his journal. His favorite athlete is his Aunt McCall. It gave us a good laugh. He was not prompted by us at all to write that. I love reading his answers. Also, his favorite Sports team is "Robots". Hilarious.

Caleb hits two months old and is looking quite pleasant about it.
