Tuesday

What a difference a couple days can make {and some sleep, and a good 45 minute workout}. Things really aren't bad but dang, Sunday was rough. I guess the bad days make you appreciate the good ones even more.

Some great things happening right now:

Danny and I have been getting up early to exercise together. We're in week 3 which is our longest streak in who knows how long. At least a couple days a week we get up at 6:00 and on the days we can sleep in we try and do it at 7:00. This has made such a difference for me. The first few days I was so tired but then it started getting easier and we're a lot better about being in bed before midnight because getting up at 6:00 is a killer for me. I'm not a morning person so I literally have to pray so hard every night to help me get out of bed. It's also helped me get my morning prayers in because I quite literally roll out of bed onto the floor in the mornings and while I'm on the floor I figure I might as well kneel and say my prayer.

We are planning a fun trip in May. Cole reads the blog sometimes so I don't want to give it away, but it is a very HAPPY place. We're excited because we've missed out the last couple years on doing anything more than just an overnight staycation {when the Whites were getting together and doing big, fun trips}. So we decided to set aside some money from our tax return to make some memories. We're also planning a trip to McCall, Idaho this summer which is going to be a blast.

We got our tax return. It feels so good to make another big chunk to pay off medical bills. Maybe by the time Caleb is two, his birth will be paid for...

I'm having Red Mango tomorrow with Leah. Yesssss.

Work is going well. I'm so glad to be on the Digital Team and to work for a cool company.

Danny and I have been taking essential oils and have stayed off major colds for the last few weeks. I don't care if the entire world denies that they work--I have a serious testimony of DoTerra oils. It has saved me from missing work this entire winter. I'm glad we can pick them up from Kristen just 5 minutes away.

We bought a used keyboard from Emily and are loving it. I have missed Danny playing and he has missed playing. It's been fun to sift through all his old sheet music and maybe now we'll be decent contributors to family talent shows...

We've started letting Caleb eat with his own spoon {when I know I'll have time to clean up after him}. This stresses me out but I know he needs to learn it at some point. I love kids but I don't love messes. That's basically an oxymoron.

Caleb eats my hair. *gag* He really does. I about die when I find a piece of any type of hair in my mouth and he proactively bites into mine. Ack.

Just had to document this hilarious outtake. He'll thank me someday.

We are also planning a very HAPPY place vacation the end of May. See you there? I think our husbands would get along well since they both like to cook and they married rad Hist girls.
