It's time to discuss something OTHER than American Idol. It's not like the most important thing in my life--so moving on to things of more value: LOST. HAHA...kidding. I will keep my theories to myself (and Danny--I tell him everything).
Cole is 20 months old! That is SOOOOOOOOOOOO weird to me. I seriously kind of freak out just thinking about it. So many people I know who had kids after I had Cole are already either pregnant again, or already have child #2. Do I feel a little pressure by this? Yes. I know I shouldn't--but I do. I don't like how the "natural man" makes us compare ourselves to everyone around us over every single thing. Unless I come out looking fabulous, of course--but if Satan is involved with the comparisons...that is rarely the case.
Back to Cole. He is terribly cute. He is at such a distinct age: he talks but doesn't say a whole lot that makes sense, but he understands massive amounts of information. I can only imagine how quickly his brain is absorbing information that is being thrown at him on a daily basis. What I love about this age: He is so interactive, and mimics everything he sees and hears. Perfect example: Today when Danny came home from work he walked into Cole's room to kiss me, and I said "hey babe!" and Cole promptly followed up with an equally as emphatic "hey babe". It was the funniest thing ever. What I don't love about this stage: He's figuring out that he has agency. He doesn't have to "come here" or "eat this" or "not touch that". This is not fun. I am really having to stretch and practice my patience. This isn't my strongest point. Maybe someday...
