Speaking of love...


One thing I love about February is (of course) Valentines Day. Who doesn't? I am having a major case of the winter blues. Blah. I am SO ready for Spring, flowers, sunny days, blue skies, grass, water fights, road trips, flip-flops, walks to the park and barbeques. Valentines Day is pretty much the only little spark of fun between January & March. We have to live it up! Am I the only one who is sick of the snow? I'm really grateful for the precipitation and all--but I need some sunny days.

Snow is my arch enemy. When I saw the snow this morning, my heart was grieved. But what made me happy? New posts from the White House. Oh yeah!

I'm still loving the snow, although I'm dissapointed that it's been so dry. I heard that the snow pack is way ahead, but wet pack is not cause the snow is so dry!

Those cookies look REALLY good...much better than any I've made!

I am on board with your longing for summer comment! For crying out loud just reading all of the things about summer made me yearn a little more. I can't wait to go on our morning walks too! I swear I'm going every day (until the baby comes)! I miss grass!

Our anniversary is the day after Vday, so that's another thing for me to look forward to(besides King's birthday-yay!). And amen on the awesome looking cookies!

IS there where I get stoned if I say I'm not the biggest valentine's day fan.? I think I just like to go against the grain. I love it for everyone else, the thought of sharing love, giving gifts, being cute...for me, I don't like sharing the day with everyone else. I'd rather have my husband celebrate our love the day before or after. I guess it's the rebel, want to choose my own day, in me. I know, I'm strange. You just said "who doesn't" love v-day ,so I thought I'd share. But cookies, heart shaped, count me in!

val--how could I forget? OF course your birthday is a major highlight in February! (So is Kambree's, Brittany's, Grace's, etc. I could go on).

Sara--you will be stoned. Go to your room. I sometimes feel the same way to be honest.

Jenn--the organization is at a stand still with my back on the fritz.
