Christmas Day!

We know Cole so well.  Danny hung this sign out in the hallway so he'd literally run into it if he tried to enter the living room before us. I was proud of how long he slept in (7:00 I think?) and it was PRESENT TIME. We had 9:00 church and I wasn't about to make Cole sit around and wait like a basket case during church to open his gifts. We spent a good hour basking in the glory of the day and then made it to Church on time!

I have to admit--his reaction was a bit delayed. He is usually a GREAT reaction giver so if he doesn't scream or ooh and aaah over something--you feel like he almost hates it but I think he was just soaking it all in. He was really concerned with what we got in our stockings so we let him help us out.

So glad I captured that genuine hug.

I was VERY surprised to see a large gift under our tree.  It's not our style to just surprise someone with an outrageous gift that we shouldn't have paid for...but Danny knew that this has been an obsession of mine for a while now. The Shark Steam Mop.  Ahhh, I was a happy girl! He also made a template of a purse online and wrote a sweet poem about how he wanted me to pick out my own purse because it was the only way I'd like it...haha. I love how creative he is. Cole got some AWESOME Neo Tracks that have provided hours of fun for him...and for the life of me I can't think of what I got Danny. Wow, I'm lame. Oh, I did get him the 3rd Season of Parks & Rec.  My mind is blank!

After church we headed over to the Whites to spend some time relaxing, opening gifts and...sleeping.
