Some things we did in November

Again, in no particular order:

Made lots of cookies. Some of which were the Best. Cookies. Ever.

Donated a shoe box at Cole's request to Samaritan's Purse. A very worthy cause. We had an update that our box went to a little boy in Mexico. We also sent our family Christmas card/picture and our address if he wants to be Cole's Pen-pal. I remember having a Pen-pal when I was little with a little girl from Japan and it was so cool :).

Did some cleaning.  The gloves were my idea.  The cat ears? Not so much...

Danny insisted that we put up our Christmas decor a week before Thanksgiving.  To all the haters: you can send hate mail to him here: wedontcarethatyouhatechristmas@gmail.com. Here are some of my favorite little items of decor.

Obviously, the tree. I also love the tipping-tree-topper.

Our ever-growing basket of Christmas Books...and electrical outlets.

Watching Cole set up the Nativity under one of our ornaments that looks like a star:

At the first of our marriage, we started gathering Christmas Tree Ornaments each year that represented our year in a nutshell.  We might have to retroactively do this because I think it's a fun idea and we just sort of stopped doing it.

2003: Not married--but pretty darn close.  A Musical Note since we met in Choir.

2004: The Salt Lake Temple (you can figure that one out)

Also, the Mesa, Arizona temple since we relocated down there in July of that year.

2005: Cole was born

And just some random decorations that I like.

A cute little ornament I made out of salt dough when I was in 3rd grade.

My Aunt Christy is SO creative and has make ornaments for the past SEVERAL years for everyone in the family. We're talking--everyone.

Another favorite from Aunt Christy

Can't forget our snow globes:
