Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Millers this year and had an absolute blast. It's never quite the same without all the family there (we missed the Kansas Millers terribly) but I love watching Cole play endlessly with his cousins. I know I say this a lot but it is so important to me that he grows up having a good relationship and FRIENDSHIP with them. I'm jealous of people that have that with their cousins. We had a fantastic "breakfast for dinner" which consisted of the traditional Chili Egg Puff, cinnamon rolls, orange juice, and other goodies.

Then we acted out a Nativity that I found and made some adjustments to. I found a "pageant" online that I was able to modify enough to fit our family and the ages of the grandkids, etc. It was a big hit and really brought the Spirit of the Holiday. Ethan and Julia were our narrators and did a great job! We also had a bit of voice over work done by Willie, Amanda, Papa Miller & Gpa Egan.  The live actors remaining were:
Raevyn--the Angel
Grace--Mary
Rylan--Joseph
Kambree, Asher & Cole were the shepherds/wisemen
Hannah played a very important role as the "tiger", I believe she was.

After a gift exchange between the Grandkids, we decorated sugar cookies, played Christmas Bingo and enjoyed each others' company. Then we got home and scooted Cole off to bed (after he set things up for Santa and the reindeer).

Looks like you guys had a great time! You did a great job pulling that all together. Maybe we need to really try for next year...or just move back. I would be cool with either. Miss you guys.
