6 months!

This little man is 6 months old and the time has FLOWN by. It has seriously been the fastest 6 months of my life. He brings so much joy into our lives and I still sometimes just stare at him and thank Heavenly Father for sending him to our family.

Cole's latest thing is to request to hold Caleb and that lasts about 30 seconds. He hands him right back over to us like he's done his duty. He asks several times a day, "I want to see Caleb" like he can't already see him in our arms. We are positive that Cole loves being a big brother.

We don't have our 6 month appointment until next week but I am fully expecting to see that he weighs more than 20 pounds. He's wearing 9 month clothing and is almost ready to bust out of that. He is also wearing size 3 diapers! He is usually a very mild mannered, easy-going baby. If he's fussy it's because something is wrong. He's already cut two teeth and it seems like he might be getting more soon. He has one dimple on his right cheek but Danny swears he has two. We'll just have to agree to disagree for now :) His hair is coming in blonde and he looks a lot like Cole did as a baby. It almost freaks me out sometimes.

Last night he slept for 12 hours straight and has consistently been a great sleeper since he hit about 2 months which is a HUGE blessing because I'm not a very nice person when I don't get a good night's rest. That made me really nervous with both of my boys when I was pregnant with them because I don't want to be a grouch but dangit, I love and NEED my sleep or I do not function well. 

On Sunday we had family dinner with the Whites. Erin LOVES Caleb and he loves her right back. Even though he has started showing signs of stranger anxiety {even with Grandma}, there is something about Erin that just clicks. He doesn't see her very often so I'm always surprised at how much he loves her but I love it.
