Threeeeeeee Amigos!

It has now become a tradition in the White family that when you turn 40, you get a big fiesta with a Three Amigos theme. {Reference from the movie...} Scott turned 40 this year so it was his turn for the big bash. It was a lot of fun. I sent out invitations a couple weeks in advance and misspelled the word "celebration". That was a cool feeling. Danny was in charge of dessert and decided to do a small cake for Scott to have for himself and then cupcakes for the crowd. We stayed up until 1:30 AM working on the cupcakes and I thought I was going to die. I didn't sleep well last week and I was really needing to get some rest but it was just a crazy week and the weekend was even crazier. Danny did most of the work as I did dishes, and watched the boys and helped where I could. I was putting on the little sugar circles on with tweezers. We are completely mental. There were lots of comments at the party about how cute the sombreros were so hopefully it was worth it :)

As referenced in the movie, Scott really only turned "33".

We had Cafe Rio rip-off salads and were thoroughly entertained with the brothers, Amy and then Ellie who sang "Blue Shadows on the Trail". So cute.

McCall finally has a baby bump!

As we were leaving, Danny stuck this mustache on Caleb and we were dying. We took about 100 pics and laughed really hard about it. Oh this boy. I love his squinty eyes.

After the party, we were beat. Between Asher's baptism that morning, then getting the house ready for a showing {shoot me} and THEN the party, we were beyond exhausted and I seriously considered skipping church to sleep all day. Oh wait, we have two kids. Scratch that. But Scott deserved a good party with a great turnout and that's exactly what he got. We all love Uncle Scott!
