Fall and Random

I bought a stroller that I'm obsessed with. We use it almost every single day. I was tired of the cheap umbrella strollers that are too short for me and not very sturdy. I was also tired of our huge travel system. Enter what's called a "lightweight stroller". My perfect solution. Folds up very nicely and doesn't take up the entire trunk. Is perfectly tall enough for both Danny and I, has storage underneath and will hold up to 50 pounds. Worth every penny.

Now that Caleb is mobile and crawling around like a champ, he has also become a destructive little lad. Doesn't he just look so innocent pulling down Halloween decor. Especially while wearing Christmas PJ's.

We've had to start using the gate. I can't have him crawling all over me while I'm using harsh chemicals on the tub and toilet. He HATES the gate.

After 10 weeks with a broken dryer, and us being too cheap to calls someone to come fix it, Danny took it apart and figured out what part was busted. Thanks to Leah who gave us the electric thingy that helped Danny test for electric currents and helped us get to the bottom of things. The next day Danny went to an appliance shop and spent $24 on the part. The dryer was working that night. Bam! What did people do before google and youtube? Oh, spend $250 for this kind of thing.

The night the dryer was up and running, Danny went to throw a load in the washer. The start button was broken. So no washer. I about had a total freak out session. Not cool. The timing was too uncanny. We are 90% sure we figured out the problem and ordered the part online. We should have a working washer by Friday. Or SO HELP ME.

Got a couple moles taken off. For free. Sweet. My derm. said it was cosmetic and would charge me over $200 to get it done. I was fine with my forehead bubble if it was going to cost me that much! This was totally free and even though they weren't cancerous, if they had stayed on, they would have become cancerous in the future {at least that's what the biopsy report said} so I've got a few more I want to get removed. I've got some scar cream that will hopefully diminish any type of scarring. When I told Cole about it, he said, "Well, I guess I need to get on the Wii and take the mole off of your Mii." Ha! The things kids think about.

The weather has been awesome. I try to take my first break outside before it gets too cold.

We found a rip-off version of Baby Einstein on Netflix and I'm not too prideful to admit that I've had to use it a few times. It keeps Caleb occupied for a good 10-15 minutes which is an eternity in baby time. I'm not a fan of letting him sit and watch TV but there are times when you've got to get something done and can't have a clingy baby who is sprouting molars hanging on your legs.

Danny and I went to see Meet the Mormons. It was inspiring and well done. I loved it all but the story of the candy bomber in particular had me bawling almost the entire time. What a guy. The missionary mom was a close second. It was like I could see myself sending off my boys on missions and it was really weird to think about. Her own personal triumphs were truly amazing. It made me want to be a better person and to be more aware of the needs of those around me. I want to be more compassionate and loving towards everyone. Even if we don't believe the same things or have the same values. We're all children of God.

This plant is right by the stairs to our apartment and makes me happy.

Had lunch at Kneaders with the Miller and Manning girls. It's always fun to get together with them. We need to do this more. Except next time dis-invite the kids {lightning}. We couldn't get a full sentence out without a mess or screaming kids. Such is life at this age :)

Checked out the pumpkin patch at Peterson Farm with Amanda and Callie. I didn't take a stroller {duh} and Cole couldn't push a wheelbarrow with big pumpkins so we got some little baby pumpkins.

"If I close my eyes--she'll probably go away."

I miss Kneaders and Utah Fall. (You know, mountains, changing colors, crisp breezes...) And I am phobic of having procedures done on my face. Random tidbit of information for you. Loved reading all your posts from Ovtober...Coles play was TOO CUTE!!

That last picture and caption totally made me laugh out loud. Also, I can't believe you got your beauty mark removed! Ok, that's what I always thought it was in my head anyway! :) Your kids are so cute. I can't get over it.
