Setting up Christmas

 One of my favorite days of the year is the day we put up Christmas. Listening to Christmas tunes, pulling out all the nostalgic decorations from Christmases past and being together as a family. I decided that I wanted to do Christmas PJ's early because what's the point of getting Christmas PJ's on Christmas Eve? This way they could wear them all season long.

 My heart just bursts looking at this. 

The stockings were hung over the Netflix fireplace with care.

Our tree is a total smorgasbord full of ornaments from Aunt Christy, the dollar store, Christmases past and random things that I don't know where they came from. But I love it. I'm a fan of colored lights but we didn't have enough to cover the tree this year so we went with the white. Either way, it's cozy and gets the job done.

Danny got intense this year and hung Garland on the dining room wall. We loved it. 

"Mom, take a picture of me."

Even though this year felt a little different with Cole knowing that Mom and Dad were Santa, he said he still wanted to pretend that he didn't know and we were fine with that. He was so excited for Caleb to hurry and grow up so he could help and keep the magic alive. I love watching his love for Caleb. I'm so happy he finally got a sibling. My sweet boys.
