The daily

The night of TOFW, I raced home, changed and met up with Greg, Angie and Danny at the Wild Rose for some amazing {free to us} food. I'd heard good things about it and we went and checked it out. I can't even describe the feeling I had when that steak hit my tongue. I have NEVER ordered steak at a restaurant before. Ever. It's always so expensive and I'm not a huge fan of red meat anyway so I go with something cheaper but this was a special occasion so I got the New York steak. I have thought about it several times since. Must. Eat. Steak.

After dinner, Danny and I met up with Adam and Erin and we enjoyed Mockingjay, compliments of 1-800-Contacts. It was a packed day but so, so fun. I wish I had even one picture of our movie dates. We decided we need to hang out more so we planned a FHE to join the families together.

My Black Friday purchase
BFHE with the Whites. It's always fun having Brad and McCall in town so we can catch up. We threw together a talent show but it wasn't as polished as years past. There's always next year...

Checking out his new cousin, Ashby

 Looking sharp for church

Looked under his crib when I couldn't find any binkies. Jack pot.

General mayhem. I forgot how busy babies keep you--and he's not even walking!

Just a typical day for Cole. Fish crackers box on my head? Why not?

Waiting at InstaCare for Caleb to get seen by a doc. He had a bad case of croup and it was pretty scary. There were a few times Danny and I felt like he legitimately wasn't breathing and he was given a blessing and we decided after a prayer that we'd be okay to avoid the ER and took him to InstaCare the next day. Thank goodness it wasn't RSV but croup is terrifying.

Each Sunday I have Cole write in the journal he was given at his baptism. He's not a fan of journal time but I keep promising him that he'll thank me someday. We try to help prompt him on a few things he can write about from the past week and it's fun to read about his view on life.
