This Week
We would have been in sunny California, but due to my back injury, we've been chillin' around town. We've tried to make the best of it by doing some fun things (that even gimps can enjoy). Gimp = Me. We've done some fun things. We hit the Aquarium that was overpriced, but enjoyable anyway. My favorite part was the Southern Sting Rays & the jelly fish.

Last night we went to Chuck E. Cheese with some friends and had a blast. I have to say that the highlights of the night were: me kicking serious trash on Skee ball (for like 20 minutes), and when we were walking out, James took a piece of pizza off another table that had already left, and ate it!! We were totally cracking up. What a character. Danny deserves some credit too, since I can't lift Cole because of my back, he was in charge of keeping Cole from jumping in on every other kid's games and rides. Cole only seemed interested in doing something if there was somebody already doing it. Once it was legitimately his turn--he kind of freaked out. And then there was the classic meltdown (on the nasty floor) towards the end of the visit. I guess it was an hour past his bedtime. He was a good sport though, and it was so much fun watching him run around on a root beer sugar high :)

I've created a home video blog with all the videos from our fun. Click here to check it out. Don't feel obligated to watch all the videos--it's more for family than anything. Having said that--you are more than welcome to check them out! I'll keep it updated along with our family blog.
Oh yeah--this was truly a vacation for us because we shopped at Target. Yes, Target. Our main goal in life is to be able to stop shopping at Wal-Mart. When on vacation--we justified shopping at Target. I know it's a dorky thing, but it was a treat for us.
