All the hype

It's almost over and a lot of people are saying that Archuleta won't win (which I don't really get). That's okay though, I'll still own his CD and be a big fan. I love this video--it's a great little recap. I can't WAIT for tomorrow night. I'm ready to have this season be over with.

I have heard all the stuff about no chance for Archie and I am not sure why...seriously...why? Am i dreaming up that he has more support than he does? Am I dreaming that a 14year old (who are the people who vote more) swoons more over him than cook? Someone don't shatter my dream but explain it to me please

I do think that Archuleta has a lot more fans inside the Mormon bubble. Everyone here in Vegas (that isn't LDS) is totally a Cook fan. Of course, he is the cutest little kid ever, and his voice is awesome.. but his stage presence isn't very polished. He's a giggly little boy that some people have a hard time taking seriously. I would be so happy to see him win, but he definitely doesn't have the win in the bag. David Cook is quite the performer and has quite the fan base. It will be a GREAT show.. the best finale so far. (although Kelly and Justin were both incredible too.)

I was going to write this before I read Janet's- but for the fun of the 'she said she said blog' suggestion, here goes:

DA- I think he has wider appeal, and therefore, more possible voters out there, even if they are 14 yr old girls. I think he captures the Senior crowd, the mom and pop crowd, the tween girls. I also think he'll get lots of votes because he is younger, and seemingly 'the underdog.'

What's a Mormon?

What's a bubble?

I have always been impressed with his composure, his ability to take criticism, his maturity, his charisma, his sincerity, and his willingness to take risks. He also has a totally unique voice.

David cook is just a good singer with a grudge (and a 30" inseam).

If he wins, send me a crow :)

I totally agree....I love cook, but he has always seemed cocky...My husband sees it too. No one else seems to see it? People, please...just look at him. That is why I can't handle him winning---he thinks it is in the bag. Even if it is, don't act like it. The few times he hasn't been cocky ( like when he was close to tears) was when I actually liked him more.

David Cook has bothered me throughout most of the competition because he has appeared very cocky to me, and he has appeared bored with it at times. Anyway, the finale was great, or I guess I should say that David Archuleta was GREAT! I can't imagine being so composed and so freakin' talented at 17. Go David A! And, he's just such a cute and humble kid. Awesome!
