To a tomato plant. I got this little lady on Mother's Day at church and was actually pretty excited. We don't have ANY place to put it, but tomato plants can grow inside if they get enough sun (I heard). It starting drying out pretty bad yesterday because it was still in the dinky little plastic cup they gave it to us in. So today I used some of our grocery money (heh) to buy some soil and a little pot for it. I named the plant Tommy because I was pretty sure Cole wanted a brother. However, after thinking about it some more, I've changed the name to Thomasina. I think she's a girl--and I've always wanted a daughter. I can't wait to gobble of the fruits of this little labor. My mom has always had a very green thumb and someday I want to have a garden and be more self sufficient. Baby steps, I guess.
Anyway, Thomasina is the perfect child. All she wants is sun and water. She never throws fits, never embarrasses me in public (YET) and is a very good listener. Welcome to the family, Little T.

pshhhhhahhh!
shame on you for causing my blood pressure to rise like that.
...and I guess congratulations on your new leafy addition.
Would you mind sending me your email address so I can add you to our blog, since we just made it private? You can email me at wishinuponastar13@yahoo.com. Thanks! ~Kellie~
FYI, I heard that when the yellow flowers come on, the plant should be outside so it can be cross polinated. I have no idea though!
Best of luck to you and your developing green thumb.
