I've had this bookshelf that my parents gave me for a long time. I've been wanting to paint it forever. We thought this green apple color would go great in Cole's room with the primary colors scheme he's got going on. It took a couple days to get all the coats on of the primer and then the actual paint. It went from dusty and ugly brown to a bright and happy green. I love it!!

Rae, this is your Father. I said that for your benifit. See I do read you queechin blog. I take exception to the term dusty and then even more so to ugly brown. Why was it dusty( not my fault) and I painted that book shelp almost20 years ago(more or less). It was a snazzy brown that matched all of our furniture. But having said that. It looks great!
