No photoshop zone
Well, I love photoshop but this "photo session" didn't include any of it. I just had to show you how intensely BEAUTIFUL it was today. I totally geek out about Fall leaves. One of my favorite hymns is For the Beauty of the Earth. While driving in the car, I literally gasp sometimes at how pretty things are and it freaks Danny out. I know it's so bad to do because it scares him but I can't help it sometimes!
After our photo shoot with Val, I had to go back to the park and take some scenic pictures with my dinky camera. Well, it's not that dinky but it's nothing to brag about. Still, I think it did a pretty decent job of capturing the gorgeous leaves, grass, trees, etc. It was the perfect day. We went straight after school so Cole was still in his uniform and wanted to be in practically every picture. Gotta love him. None of these was taken in the exact same place. We were all over the park. Can you imagine an entire park this gorgeous? Well it was.
This kills me. Without ANY prompting by me, Cole goes up ahead and kneels down. When I asked him what he was doing he said "Mom, I'm inviting Heavenly Father to come talk to me." I stood there for a minute with a smile on my face and just watched him. Even if he WAS just trying to be funny--it was a really sweet moment.
This guy had the right idea. This is where I'd want to go if I had some free time and we lived close by. Seriously, I could have stayed there all day if we didn't have to go get Danny. Hope your day was happy!

THIS ONE KILLS ME...
