I'm having a hard time keeping up on this blog. What with my super packed schedule these days (lie). I don't know what the dealio is. I'm just not feeling the motivation. But I LOVE to look back over old posts (and especially videos so I want to be better about that) so I must press on! Here are some things we've been up to lately:
Red Mango with these lovelies:
I haven't seen Nat and Heidi in literally years. Val and I see each other semi often but it's always a pleasure. We had a great time getting caught up on life and talking about babies and having kids. I love that after so many years it's like no time has passed. I also love that our favorite boy names are names that both Nat and Heidi have one of! Crazy. That will not be going public until after baby White is born :)
Later in the week, Britt was down with her kiddos. Paul was on a super long business trip and I was glad it gave her a good excuse to come down to SL. We had a great time at the pool. Once again--you know you have great friends when years go by and you can pick up right where you left off.
This is pretty much how I've been feeling lately...
We had a nice Father's Day BBQ at Uncle Gary's with much of the Miller side.
Danny's been working hard on his most recent cakes:

Fun fact about the Yoshi cake: It was done totally free handed. Danny printed up a picture just to look at as a guide and this is what he produced. Whut. Seriously.
We ended up going with rice crispy treats instead and I got to work on that immediately. We were having issues with the fondant too. Danny had tried a new marshmallow fondant recipe which was really tasty but not as reliable. It was seriously just one thing after another and by the time it was delivered we were both emotionally spent. It's a good thing it turned out so beautiful. Angie had a great design for the cake and we just kind of threw the flowers up on top at the last minute to see how it would look. Nailed it! I love the quilted look on the fondant. This is probably my favorite cake yet. I loved the purple with the ivory, the quilting and of course I'm a huge fan of the ruffles. I'm also a fan of the fact that the cake is done :)
Getting out of the house and visiting some natural springs. We went up American Fork Canyon, had dinner at Tibble Fork and took a mini hike around Cascade Springs. It was awesome to be out and about.

Took a drive with Uncle Willie up to Payson Lake to pick up Aunt Amanda. It was a gorgeous day. I wanted to jump in the lake!
Hanging with Aunt Melissa and the kids at Planet Play
I had to take the 3 hour glucose test at Riverton Hospital which turned into the 4.5 hour test. I felt sick for the rest of the day. I am still waiting to hear from my doc. I called the lab to get the numbers though and it doesn't look good. My fasting number was even high so they almost cancelled the test altogether. I'm extremely bummed about it. We've had a lot of bad news in the last week or so and this was just one more thing!
Cole and I went to the splash pad by Gma and Papa's house and ran into Asher and Raevyn on a play date. Small world :) I was so happy he had other little kids to play with!
More pool time with our friends here in the ward
Watching Spy Kids in 3D with Nate and topping it off with a sleepover
Getting together with Travis and Aubry from Arizona. We went up into the mountains to enjoy the cooler air. And I was pretty proud of my 1 match fire.
Oh my. I'm exhausted just looking at all this. We have been packing a lot into our days lately so the last couple days have been super lazy which is exactly what we needed.
My mom was taken to the ER the other night (4 AM) due to fainting and what we thought was a mini seizure so that has been very traumatic for me. We had to call 911 and she was taken via ambulance on a stretcher. We also got news that Danny's cousin lost their 3 month old baby to SIDS the other day which really shook us up. It has been a doozy of a week (despite what the pictures may convey). Mom is back home now and they weren't able to find any conclusive reasoning behind her health problems and that is causing me major anxiety. I'm hoping things will calm down a bit the next few days. I'm not dealing well with stress right now :-/
Ehhh, I shouldn't end this on a bad note so let me fetch another picture...
Ahhh yes. The fire truck for baby White by "Grandpa Jack" (as Cole calls him). Gpa is so cool. He's made something like this for all of his great grand boys and the girls have all gotten jewelry boxes. I feel lucky to have a cedar chest made by him too so we are blessed to have something so special to remember him by once he isn't here. He is such a talented guy and we sure do love him.
