Snowbird

 I have looked forward to our annual sleepover with my AP7 girls for several years now. I wish we were able to get all 7 of us together but it didn't happen this year. We missed Laura, Melissa and Stef. I love that Norda has access to this every June. It was just what the doctor ordered. Mae took Cole for several hours until Danny got home from work and then the next morning Cole hung out with Gma Miller and Papa until he went to play at Weaver's for a couple hours until I got home.

Having a time share at the Iron Blossom Lodge needs to be on my bucket list. Or any time share, really.

It was absolutely gorgeous. The funny thing is that even if we have good intentions of getting outside and enjoying nature, once we get there and start chatting, we can literally just sit and talk for 7 hours straight (while stuffing our faces) and allsofasudden it's midnight. Seems to happen every year. Norda and I managed to get a picture the next morning.

I also got a shot of Amy and Jenna's bums...which I hope I never forget. 

 We made rip off Cafe Rio salads and I have to say--it was aMAzing. Especially with Amy's sticky rice.

 The time went by too quickly (like it always does) but there's always next year :) We do see each other at other times throughout the year but the overnighter is always so fun. The best part is that we did it on a Thursday night and then went home and still had a weekend waiting for us. Sweet!
