We say goodbye to lazy summer days at the pool. On this particular day, Owen and Anna joined us.

Cole snuck away during family dinner to watch a movie with Ellie & Henry in Laura's bed.

We celebrated the Pioneers by spending literally ALL day running errands and then wrapping it up with a BBQ at Greg & Angie's. This is the only photo evidence of that day...

Oh, and this one. We rushed Cole home around 8:30 and let him do some sparklers before getting his filthy feet and body scrubbed clean and then got ready for his first day of school. Yes, the fireworks kept him up past 10:00. The Jordan School District is ridiculous for starting school on July 25th in Utah.

We attended a summer party for my sweet friend Michelle. We could only stay an hour and it did this the entire time we were there:

I didn't even get a picture with Michelle! Lame me. I was distracted by what we had to do after leaving the party. It was so great to see her and meet her handsome husband and adorable little boy. I heard it cleared up after we had to leave. Just our luck!

Amanda had her baby and they named her Callie Joy. She has the most PERFECT chubbalicious cheeks in the history of babies. About the time this picture was taken, Val was also having her baby in the same hospital. I joked that she should have paged me to her delivery room so I could either cut the cord or deliver the placenta. That's what friends do for each other.
