I feel a little childish referring to this group of beautiful women as part of the "hood" but I don't know what else to call us because that's exactly what we called ourselves for a long, long time. {The boys were included in this name calling}. Angie totally blew our minds with the news that her growing family was heading to EGYPT for Carrington's work. Yes. Egypt. She seemed calm about it while we peppered her with questions. She will be raising a family in a country where Christianity is the minority and the government has had consistent upheaval. I pray she will be safe. It's always so fun to get together with these ladies. We got an update on Chad and had a special moment when Amy shared that all you can do when it comes to cancer, is rely on the atonement and the peace that comes through Christ. I have been blessed to associate myself with these fine women. None of us have had easy lives. We have struggled privately and publicly but we have held strong to the gospel which has made hard things a little bit easier. Angie was only in town for a couple days and we somehow actually made it work with a quick get-together. I still can't believe we pulled it off with such short notice. Towards the end of the night we got really dorky which is one reason I love them :) I can be completely myself around them and I know I won't be judged. That's a good feeling.

Thank you, camera timer.
The outtakes. Ahhh, my face is gigantic!! Note to self: Never use the crappy camera on my phone :)
Tash and Angie stayed REALLY LATE. I think it was close to 1:00 when they left but it was so great to catch up and just laugh. We were getting pretty punchy there towards the end. I don't know if we'll ever have a chance to see Angie for several years so I was really cherishing this time together. We tried and tried to get a good "selfie" pic but seriously struggled. We were cracking up like little school girls. We took some more pictures and every single was either cutting someone's face off, blurry, eyes closed, you name it. I think it took 30 tries to get a decent shot!

| Seriously, where did Tash even go? |

| Finally, I think we found a decent one. |
I will always cherish my friendship with these women. We aren't 14 anymore and even though sometimes when we get together, it feels that way--we are blossoming into responsible adults. :) I promise.
