Plastic and the Park
When Danny and I were engaged we got roped into some Celebrity China gig from a bridal show I went to. Never again...they made it sound so perfect and it was only $x.xx per month. We both worked full time and figured it was worth the "free" cruise and hotel stay. We did it. It's nice to pull out when we entertain or have guests (which isn't all that much these days) but the majority of the days our dishwasher looks like this. It's so much easier than worrying that Cole is going to bust our beautiful china. It really is gorgeous and we got some high quality pots and pans with it...but dang. Hopefully someday we'll really get to use it!
Today we went to Murray Park and did a family photo shoot with my good friend Val. Her photography totally rocks and she'll probably be the one I always ask to do family pictures. I like her style. This is a picture I took with my dinky little camera on "auto" setting but I just wanted to quickly capture what kind of day it was...and I didn't even catch any of the color, this is just where it was super green. SUPER green. Some of the trees were bright yellow, there were splashes of orange and a little bit of red. It was about 70 degrees and there was plenty of good shade. I can't wait for you to see the real pictures because this doesn't do it justice at ALL.
Here's a candid one of Val photographing Cole. He wasn't being very cooperative which was totally stressing me out. He always does this. He either totally hams it up or he runs away and cries. Val was totally patient and just trying to work with his moodiness and I was ready to tie him up. Anyway, it was a great morning and then we were off to Costco to get Cole some promised ice cream for "good behavior". I do have to say that we all looked pretty cute though...you'll have to remain in suspense until we get the pics from Val.
Thanks again Val...your camera takes great pictures...haha (inside joke). It's not the camera...it's her.
