We made it downtown before the cold front hit in December and I was so glad. Caleb still fit in the "I can't put my arms down" body suit that we bought when Cole was a baby and the weather was seriously a balmy 50 degrees yet here we are all bundled up. We met up with the Whites and cruised around downtown to check out the ZCMI windows (I think it's Macy's now?), City Creek and of course Temple Square. This is my favorite tradition of Christmas time and I'm glad we made it down in time to avoid sloshing around in the snow. We picked up some hot chocolate from Maverick on the way and that is the way to do it. Way cheaper than getting it at the Lion House Pantry. Next year we'll have to remember...
