Baby, it's cold outside

Well, we got dumped on yesterday and this morning. It was lovely. I love a good snow storm as long I'm not driving in it. Cole was pretty pumped to get outside in it today. After being inside all week feeling crappy--I was pretty pumped too.

So we headed over to Grandma White's

And played on the playground in the backyard

It was pretty exhausting...

We started an igloo but got too hot and ran out of energy! It's hard work when Mom does it all :)

 So we called it a day. Plus, my snow pants had fallen down around my ankles. I got these bad boys when I volunteered for the Olympics TEN years ago and they didn't fit around my waist anymore (boooo). I figured I'd just pull them up, and pull the zipper up as high as it would go and see how long it lasted. I got a good 30 minutes out of them before they looked like this:

Then we knew it was time to head inside for some hot cocoa :)
