Tiana's Annual Bash
For as long as I can remember, my friend Tiana has hosted a Halloween party. It's a pretty big deal. We're not talking about a hanging-out-in-her-basement type of party. It's a PAR-TAY. This was seriously the first year we've been able to go and I'm really glad because it was a good time! There were all these adorable little stations set up for the kiddies.
Don't ask about the dark hair. It was traumatic for both Cole and I. It probably won't ever happen again. He got black hair spray all over his face and in both ears while flinching violently and I said a naughty word. Glad that's over.
I think Danny & Cole came in a close 2nd with this TP contest.
Each year, they read a story {that Tiana and Jen WROTE themselves}to the kids. It's theeee cutest story and I hope it gets published PRONTO. I was asked to narrate the story this year and the looks on the kids' faces were priceless. At the end, Jack the Pumpkin comes out from the behind the backdrop and leads the children to a row of plastic pumpkins {in a darkened room with white Christmas lights intertwined} filled with goodies of all kinds. It was SO darling.
This was taken with a flash. It was actually totally dark with just the little white lights, lighting the way. So festive.
Cole with Jack. He is a Halloween Celebrity! Cole talked about him ALL.NIGHT.LONG.
Even though I swear I never win anything, I actually won a GC to Papa Murphy's from the raffle and Cole won the award for Best Boy Costume! The naughty word and hair sprayed earwax was worth it!
Love Cassandra's costume as a Ceiling Fan :)
