Drumroll please.......
This is my third annual "Turkey Day Top Ten" list and I'm pretty pumped about it. So far, I've managed to do Thirty Days of Thanksgiving on Instagram so I think I can handle my Turkey Day Top Ten. Plus, this way I get to expound a bit on why I'm grateful for something. I'm not opposed to the huge obvious things like family, temples, the gospel of Jesus Christ, etc. But if it comes up on a particular day--it does. But I do like to focus on some smaller things that often get overlooked.
With that in mind--let's jump right in.

DAY 10: I'm thankful for my health
This might seem odd coming from the girl who is getting over being sick but we all know that having a dumb infection is NOTHING compared to what it could be. One of my sweet Aunts on Danny's side was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. My heart goes out to her and her family. I know it's been a difficult time. You never know when life will throw you a curve ball and I know I take my health for granted. In fact, I know I take my life for granted. Every day I breathe in and out and don't think twice about it. Some people need help to do even the basic tasks...like breathing. So I'm feeling extremely grateful to be in good health.
Sometimes I forget to love my body and not be angry with it for not functioning the way it should and giving me exactly what I want, WHEN I want it (a baby) but I have been blessed with a beautiful little boy who I DON'T take for granted. I don't think a day goes by that I don't thank God for him. I know my body can do miraculous things and it is extremely forgiving of all the crap I put it through when I don't eat right and don't exercise the way I should. As with most things in my life--this is a work in progress. So today--I'm grateful for my health.
