Turkey Day Top Ten: Day 7

Day 7: I am thankful for my job

With unemployment as high as it is--I am feeling super blessed to be working. After quitting Contacts, I've had my Wednesday night gig at Horizante High school but that ended last night. Today I started my new job as a "Playground Assistant". Sounds pretty impressive, right? The first couple hours consist of helping two other cool ladies in the teacher work room. Making copies, laminating, stapling, whatever the teachers need help with. The last hour and a half is spent outside as the boss of playland. I even have a whistle. I've always wanted a whistle. I am basically living my dream and I'm only 32. Lucky me. Since I used to LOVE playing "office" as a kid and I love to be outside--I'm feeling pretty great about this. It's also less than 2 minutes from where I live. That's pretty great too :)
